He has several years of experience in the practice of intellectual property law, including the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, patent and technology licensing, and patent transactional matters.
Before attending law school, Joshua worked as an engineer in technology areas involving hardware, software applications, security systems, network integrity, intranet, internet, email and peripheral systems. While in law school Joshua clerked in law firms to gain practical experience in Intellectual Property law.
Joshua is an experienced patent prosecutor in technology areas such as software, hardware, electronics, telecommunications, ecommerce, business methods, storage devices, printing devices. He has drafted a large number of patent applications and responses to Office Actions, and has been involved in other aspects of patent prosecution practice before the USPTO and the courts.
