Vic is a partner of the firm and is registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office.  Vic focuses his practice on intellectual property matters that arise with companies doing business in China.  He is experienced in counseling overseas companies who want to do business in the US as well as US companies who seek to import goods from China.  Vic has advised clients on building intellectual property portfolios and developing strategies to avoid infringement of intellectual property rights.  Vic is also regularly engaged in patent prosecution, patentability and infringement opinions, trademark prosecution and copyright prosecution.  Vic also regularly handles intellectual property litigation.

Personal

Vic is actively involved with his church.  Vic loves food and believes his calling was (and still is) to be a food critic of BBQ and ice-cream.  Vic is unafraid to tell his clients what he really thinks and when they’re simply wrong.  Vic’s down-to-earth manner often gives his clients the mistaken impression that he’s not a lawyer.
